FogLab
IN-HOUSE INSTRUMENT · DESIGN STAGEBuild the proving ground.
A controlled platform for comparing fog collection and optical visibility. Build the measurement that tells us what works.
We begin with fog: a measurable physical system and a possible source of useful water. These are the programs guiding our current development work.

Put fog water to work.
Investigate fog as a supplemental water source, starting with the local resource, a passive baseline and water delivered to storage.
Change where water lands.
Test the idea of directing fog water into a defined receiver. The question is how much water arrives, and what it costs to get there.
FogLab is at the design stage. FogFarm is a planned field-water program. PondFall is an untested research concept within the wider water program.
Our research connects controlled measurements with the conditions at a real site: fog availability, water demand, drainage, storage, energy and maintenance.
FogAtlas-style resource assessment supports site selection. A promising laboratory result still needs its own field comparison and a defined user requirement.
